STA-BIL Rust Stopper, 13 oz, 6-Pack
Six cans of Rust Stopper — full-shop coverage against the damp season, bought once.
STA-BIL — ready for the first pull of spring

Rust never sleeps, but it can be locked out. Rust Stopper lays a thin water-resistant film over any metal that must sit — deck of the mower, bed of the trailer, the vice on the dock.
It is fuel care's sibling for everything fuel can't reach: the outside surfaces, hinges and hardware that face the same damp winter as the engine.
Prices and availability are read from each product’s live retail listing — the red button opens it in a new tab.
For every metal thing the winter wants.
A clinging water-resistant film that stays where it is sprayed.
Formulated for months of storage, matching the engine's own layup.
Tools, chains, decks, blades, hitches — if it rusts, it qualifies.
Comes off with a rag when the season starts, taking no paint with it.

5.0I have an old compact tractor that lives in an open barn, and moisture always creeps in to attack metal surfaces 😤. Several bolts and brackets already had light surface rust that kept spreading. I picked up this STA-BIL Rust Stopper 13 oz to try it out. I cleaned off loose rust first then sprayed an even coat. It halted the existing rust from advancing right away and creates a tough barrier against humidity. I also used it on my hand tools hanging on the workshop wall. After two wet spring months, no new rust formed at all. The spray nozzle is easy to control with little overspray. It doesn’t leave a sticky greasy mess like some other rust inhibitors. This product works exactly as advertised. I feel relieved knowing my metal equipment is protected. Will keep a can on hand all the time

5.0I picked up this 13 oz STA-BIL Rust Stopper for my lawn tractor, which had minor surface rust on exposed metal after rainy seasons. I cleaned the parts and sprayed it on. It halted the existing rust and formed a waterproof protective film. The spray nozzle works smoothly without messy dripping. I also used it on my tool shed hardware. It keeps corrosion away reliably. This spray is a must-have for anyone maintaining outdoor metal equipment.

4.0I picked this up for my old hand tools and the hybrid bike I ride to work. My socket set was starting to get that light orange rust, so i hit it with a quick spray, wiped it down, and the rust actually stopped creeping. That part made me pretty happy. Used it on my bike chain after a full week of rain and the drivetrain felt smooth on the ride in, no squeaks at traffic lights. Only gripe, it doesn’t last as long on the chain as I hoped, so I end up reapplying more than I’d like. Still keeps my gear from looking beat.

5.0Because I tinker with old garden tools in retirement, my son bought me this rust stopper. I used it on a rusty hand rake that belonged to my father. I just sprayed, wiped the extra, and the metal looked steadier and smoother. Being able to keep his tools going made me glad.
