This product works best as a cleaner, lubricant, and rust preventative. I use it on all of my firearms, and it has kept them completely free of rust and corrosion for up to 6 months in storage. I actually like its thinner, runnier consistency because it easily penetrates all internal and external parts for total protection and lubrication. For application, I find it works best to soak a cotton ball and wipe it down. For stubborn carbon buildup in the barrel or actions, just apply it and let it sit for a few hours or overnight before wiping it clean. It’s a fantastic value, highly effective, and proudly made in the USA.

This STA-BIL Gun CLP works exactly as it should. It cleans, lubricates, and helps prevent jamming with no issues in performance. The only improvement I would suggest is the applicator. A spray bottle or a bottle with an angled straw would make application much cleaner and easier to control. As it is, it can get a little messy during use. Overall, it’s a solid CLP that does its job well, just needs a better application design.
